Tonight after an evening of blackberry pie and fresh crab and cousins playing in the grass we saw a rainbow. It stretched clear across the sky. Faint at first and then brighter.
And the sunset was gorgeous too. I captured a beautiful picture of three of the cousins holding hands looking out across the bay to where the sun split the clouds.
Such a fitting end to a wondrous summer. We welcomed a new baby. The boys learned to swim. We ate so much ice cream and gummies and had movie nights and ate fruit from the trees not a hundred feet away.
Sometimes you have to look up to see wondrous things but often you can look right before you and see any and everything beautiful in this world.
