I do believe that love is the key ingredient to managing the ups and downs of life, work, relationships, competition. Without this winning, losing, enduring are unbearable.
For me.
This is the case for me.
Passion and love are my barometer. What keeps me keeled when everything is offset. What drives me forward when failure abounds. What keeps me humble when I’ve won.
Love for family. Love for friends. Love for coworkers. Love for the sport, or product, or company. This is what matters. This is what stands the test of time. This is what heals, and grows, and plants new seeds.
I guess the question is – am I capable of bringing it to where it lacks? Am I willing to go that deep or far?
