Stick It Out

We can’t possibly know what the end of a journey will look like. We can imagine and dream and hope. And that is our fuel. When things get tough and we don’t feel like we are making progress – this is what we need to rely on. And if you stick it out long enough, past the point where you feel like you’ve got nothing left to gain, you’ll surprise yourself. With more clarity. More focus. And a clearer understanding of who you are.

It’s easy when something is new. Excitement is high. There’s a flurry of energy and activity. But when that dies down as it inevitably does, you might be tempted to write it off as a failure. It’s not. This is where the true magic happens. If you can get through this. Stay engaged. And keep actively searching. You’ll find what you need. Not necessarily what you were looking for. But what you need.

Stick it out.
