When something breaks it’s always frustrating. Even though things breaking is inevitable. It reminds us there are no guarantees.
Tommy Boy said it best – “Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time.”
So we do the best we can with what’s broken. We get it fixed. Or we adapt to something that’s half working. And either way it’s a lot of effort.
Because we rely on things to work to make our lives easier. To get things done.
So the trick isn’t hoping that nothing ever breaks. It’s how we respond when it does. If we know breakage is a part of life maybe it’ll hurt a little less when it happens and give us the mindset necessary to fix what we can and move on.
