I think of the things that might make a truly exceptional organization is the ability to take feedback. To humble yourself no matter your pedigree or tenure. To listen to views other than your own. And to challenge your own assumptions.
This promotes diversity of thought and encourages other voices to speak up and be heard.
If you can’t take feedback it doesn’t mean you’re a terrible human being. But it could mean you could benefit from taking a step back and asking yourself why you need to be right so much.
