Sometimes it’s just junk. Get rid of it. Or don’t post it. Clear it out. Throw it away. Get it out of your system and move on.
Roses can handle a heavy amount of pruning and grow back stronger than ever. And our art is the same.
I’m not saying burn everything you’ve written or painted or recorded. What I’m saying is there’s going to be a lot of junk that will eventually lead to the gold. To the ah hah. To the rhythm.
Practicing our art means getting accustomed to wading through the junk to get to the good stuff. Keep going.
