Don’t make rash decisions at the end of a long emotional day.

But also treat yo’self if that will make you feel good.

And get some sleep for the love of god.

Put whipped cream in your coffee. I promise it will change your day for the better.

Go easy on yourself. You’re imperfect. And a mess. But you love deeply.

Relish the laughter of your children.

Put your phone down more. Or better yet out of sight.

Persevere even when you feel like things can’t get any worse.

Hug each other. If you don’t like hugs give a head nod instead.

Read more paper and less screens. Books. I’m talking about books.

Enjoy silence when you have it.

Drink a glass of good red wine. Or scotch. Or sparkling water.

Close your eyes and breathe deeply every so often.

And lastly. Slow. Down. Go slower. Half that speed. No half that speed.
