I’m Not Looking For You

So. No one took me up on my offer for a free grip assessment. Five Minutes To Change Your Grip

Honestly I’m not surprised. And I know why.

Because you’re not who I’m looking to help. I’m not looking for a coach who already knows this. Or a rower who is confident and adept at handling their oars already. And I’m not looking for the rower who is content with their grip even if it’s not perfect. And I’m definitely not looking for the rower who doesn’t care. You don’t need my help.

But if you are:

Afraid

In pain

Embarrassed

Confused

Have blisters all over your palms

Feel like you’re missing out on truly enjoying the sport

Don’t know what it feels like to be in control of your equipment

I’m looking for you. I want to help you. Because I know the struggle of dealing with being all of the above and feeling like I’ll never get better. I know what it took me to get over this feeling and make a breakthrough that changed my rowing and my life. I know what you’re going through.

I’m looking right at you and offering to change your rowing and your life.

So I’m going to pose this a different way.

If you know someone or are someone who feels any of the above, send them this post and the previous one. Read them both again. And take me up on this offer. You can be the master of your boat.

Why wait?

The risk that you’re taking is that you’ll never truly know the feel of true connection or what it’s like to be uninhibited by your fears. And more importantly that you’ll spend all this time on the water and never truly experience the joys of your sport. And it is your sport.

Thanks for reading. I hope to hear from you.
