Right now I’m feeling so grateful that my family is safe at home. It’s so easy to make our lives feel routine and secure and predictable. But we are all tenuous in reality.
We can’t predict the behavior of other people or random things that might happen. All the more reason to say I love you. Hug harder. Kiss longer. Be present as much as you possibly can. It could be gone tomorrow.
We are lucky for every moment we get. Don’t waste them.
