Answers, Now What

Sometimes you just have to seek out the experts. To find out why. To do a study. To understand.

Otherwise we blame ourselves. We blame others. We get fed up. And exhausted. And lose hope.

It’s ok to seek help. It’s ok to not have the answers. You should not feel shame that you don’t always know what to do.

Show me the guidebook for being a parent. That gives you all the answers from the start. It doesn’t exist. We are all discovering and flailing and learning and struggling and triumphing on our own. And it’s so different for everyone.

If a guidebook could say one thing it would be this: “trust your instincts.” Continue to push until you have answers. Persevere. Trust yourself especially when you are in the deepest darkest hole. Because you’re guided by love. And you know your life the best.

Get the answers you need and then take action. Move forward. Continue on the journey. And remember this is just one step in an immensely beautiful gift we get to experience.
